Magda Constantí has completed her PhD from the University of Barcelona, Spain, and postdoctoral studies from University of California at Los Angeles, USA. Currently, she is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University Rovira I Virgili, Spain. She has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering areas. She has been the principal investigator of several research projects related to microbiology applied to solve environmental issues.
