Biography
Tony Tiyou holds a triple Engineering Master’s Degree from Cranfield University (UK), Ecole Centrale de Lille (France) and Faculte Polytechnique de Mons (Belgium). A registered PRINCE2 Practitioner, Tony has also been recognised as an achiever of the Galileo Master Certificate from the European Energy Centre (UK) and holds qualifications as a Renewable Energy expert. After working in various positions and holding different roles for about a decade in the Automotive and the Renewable Industries, Tony has co-founded a consultancy, O’wango & TT Smart (O&TT). O&TT supports businesses and provides solutions in Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Project Management. In September 2016, Tony launched Renewables in Africa (www.renewablesinafrica.com), the expert blog about Renewable Energy in Africa. The ambition is to Raise the Technical Awareness about the various Renewable Energy sources on the African Continent and share the information. As much as helping businesses primarily, it is also about getting the civil society understanding what they need, what they buy and to some extent as well, how to better use this energy.
